My first day of training, sort of

Tomorrow morning I run 23k.  I’m excited about it.  My full marathon training started in January, but all the runs have been meat and potato runs, I have done them all before, many times.  My longest run is 25k, a year ago, and it went badly.  Tomorrow is the start of personal best longest runs, and I want to finish them well.  I injured my left foot last week, physio on it yesterday, it should be fine for tomorrow.  The weather looks good, I am going to drive by the route I selected to see that the footing will be decent.  I hope to have at least 1 person run the distance with me, but if not, I will be fine.

My name is Mike Feihle, I started running in 2011.

In 2014 I started running half-marathons.  This year, 2018, I’m starting my training and my journey to run a 160k Ultra Marathon.

Here I will post my thoughts, pains, injuries and successes.  To those that don’t run I hope you find it entertaining.  For those that do run I hope you find it informative and maybe inspirational.
